What this directory is
This portal is an independent index of verified Awazon Market onion mirror URLs and a small library of reference notes around them. The maintainer publishes the verified mirror set, keeps a few plain pages around it for first-time visitors and forwards the rest of the work to the storefront itself. The portal is a navigational layer, not a marketplace.
The site does not run accounts, does not hold balances, does not relay messages between buyers and vendors and does not process payments. It has no login form, no captcha, no cookies and no tracking layer. A visitor's interaction with this portal ends the moment they paste a copied URL into the Tor Browser; everything after that happens between the visitor and the storefront, with no involvement from this directory.
What this directory is not
It is not operated by Awazon Market and does not represent the marketplace officially. It is not a forum, a vendor review board, a price aggregator or a chat platform. It does not link to lookalike directories for affiliate revenue, does not sell vendor placement on the mirrors page and does not run ads. It does not host the storefront itself — the storefront lives on the Tor network and is reachable only through the onion URLs.
It is not a live monitoring service. The mirror set is verified when it is published and rechecked on a regular cadence, but the page does not claim to ping the onion services in real time. Anyone who wants live status can run the Tor Browser themselves; that is the only honest live check available from the visitor's side anyway.
How the mirror set is verified
Each onion URL on the mirrors page is checked against the operator's signed mirror statement before it is published here. The signed statement is a PGP-signed text document the operator publishes on the storefront's public statement page and rotates when the mirror set changes. Verifying it requires the operator's PGP key, which is also published on the storefront and pinned by the maintainer locally.
If a new mirror cannot be verified yet — the signed statement does not list it, or the signature does not check out cleanly — it does not appear on the mirrors page. The maintainer would rather show a smaller, verified list than a larger, partly-stale one. Phishing aggregators do the opposite, which is one of the visible markers that distinguishes them from this directory.
Contact
The maintainer takes written messages at the contact onion linked from the footer. Phishing URLs you want forwarded, mirror updates that need to be reflected here, factual corrections to the reference pages and clarification requests are all welcome at that address. The maintainer reads and replies on a slow cadence; please do not expect a same-day turnaround.
The contact channel is one-way for sensitive content — encrypt your message to the maintainer's published PGP key before sending if it contains anything you would not write on a postcard. The key is pinned on the contact page itself and verifiable against the same signed mirror statement that anchors the verified URL set.
The maintainer's stance on neutrality
The portal does not endorse or criticise the marketplace beyond what the reference pages plainly state. The Security, Payments and Escrow pages describe the platform as it is — a 2-of-3 multisig market that accepts three coins, with the strengths and trade-offs that go with that shape. Readers who want a stronger opinion can find it on a forum; this portal stays on the descriptive side of the line, because that is what is useful for a directory.
What the portal will never try to do
It will not ask for an email address, a wallet password, a 2FA token, a PGP private key or a shipping address. It will not redirect through tracker URLs, will not silently insert affiliate parameters into copied onion URLs, will not run JavaScript on the visitor's machine and will not set persistent identifiers in storage. Any future change to the portal that touched any of those boundaries would be a different project, not a continuation of this one.
Layout and design notes
The portal uses the Awazon Market dark theme palette and typography because the visual continuity helps a returning visitor recognise that they are still in the right neighbourhood. Nothing about the design is endorsed by the storefront; the visual choices are the maintainer's. If the page renders strangely on a particular browser, please write in via the contact onion — the maintainer reads bug reports the same way as everything else.
Funding
The portal has no operating budget. The maintainer runs it on a small server out of pocket. There is no donation page and no plan to add one; the time cost of the project is low enough not to need one, and a donation page would complicate the neutrality posture more than it would help. If you want to send something useful, send accurate phishing URLs and factual corrections; that is what the project benefits from.
